Dwyane Wade celebrates entering Hall of Fame with his dad
Dwyane Wade did some amazing things, during his time in the NBA. Wade played most of his career with the Miami Heat. During his second season, the Heat traded for Shaq. As a result, they formed the NBA’s top duo. A year later, they won the championship in epic fashion. After that, Dwyane Wade’s career was hampered by injuries. When LeBron James arrived in Miami, Wade won two more championships. Last night, he was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, with his father by his side.
Dwyane Wade recently said he is the greatest Miami Heat player of all-time. In addition, Pat Riley has said that Wade was the best player in the world in 2006. However, both statements have faced a lot of scrutiny. First, when it comes to the Miami Heat, many people validly argue that LeBron James is the best to ever wear a Heat uniform. After that, there’s the valid argument that Kobe Bryant was better than Wade in 2006, as he had the 81 point game that year.
Dwyane Wade is an all-time great and there’s no arguing that. During his time in the NBA, he did reinvent the bank shot. In addition, he played with more reckless abandon than anyone before, or after him. Collectively, his efforts did lead to three championships. Those three rings were all the first in the franchise history of the Miami Heat. In addition, Wade helped lead the Heat to five NBA Finals appearances. Prior to Wade, they had none. When he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, he brought his father on stage, emphatically saying “we in the Hall of Fame, dog.”
