Dwyane Wade considering leaving the Miami Heat, as contract negotiations are not going well

Dwyane Wade

The Miami Heat have faced their fair share of adversity over the past year and it could be getting worse. First, the Miami Heat lost in the Finals to the San Antonio Spurs and then LeBron James left for Cleveland. During the playoff push, Chris Bosh fell ill and had to end his season.

Over the years, the Miami Heat have faced a lot, enduring every extreme and Dwyane Wade has been the constant. The team has been coached by the likes of Stan Van Gundy, Pat Riley, and Erik Spoelstra during his era on the team. He has played alongside the likes of Shaquille O’Neal.

Now, it looks as if the Miami Heat could lose Dwyane Wade, as contract negotiations are not going well. Last year, Dwyane Wade signed a two year extension with a player option for next season and now it looks like Wade could opt out. He wants a max deal, due to the cuts he took for the betterment of the team, but Pat Riley and the Heat are questioning his ability to stay healthy.
