Dwyane Wade is one of the most accomplished players in NBA history. Wade is right up there with the likes of Kobe Bryant, when it comes to the all-time greats. Actually, D-Wade won the NBA Finals MVP before either the late Kobe, or LeBron James. While LeBron would eventually compete in ten NBA Finals, Dwyane Wade got there first. In 2019, Wade retired from the NBA. Now Shannon Sharpe finally got to sit down with him to share his story.

Dwyane Wade grew up in Chicago, when Michael Jordan and the Bulls were dominating. As a result, he was inspired to play in the NBA for the Bulls. His goals were to make the NBA and to become the “next Michael Jordan.” For a time, Wade looked like he was going to do just that. During the 2006 NBA Finals, Wade delivered the best Finals performance since Jordan. As a result, Wade won the Finals MVP. He competed in the Finals against the likes of Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant, and Tim Duncan.

Dwyane Wade is an NBA legend and he played with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Jimmy Butler. Over the course of sixteen years, Wade played for the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers. During that time period, he won three titles with the Heat. In addition, he became their All-Time leading scorer. Recently, he sat down with Shannon Sharpe and discussed this, his legacy, his wife Gabrielle Union, Jimmy Butler’s Heat, and potentially getting a statue in Miami.
