Dwyane Wade will re-sign with the Miami Heat for one more season and he will retire following the 2018-2019 season

Yeah, this seems to be really happening, if reports are true. It is the end of an era, as Dwyane Wade is entering the final season of his career. A lot has gone down, as Dwyane Wade made his legacy with the Heat, but became a journeyman.

In 2016, Dwyane Wade had a contract dispute with the Miami Heat, leading to him signing with the Chicago Bulls. When the Bulls decided to go in a different direction, Wade signed with the Cavaliers. That situation was a disaster, leading to Wade being traded to Miami.

Dwyane Wade returned home and had an immediate impact on his former team. The Heat made the playoffs and gave a strong challenge to the young Philadelphia 76ers, led by Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, losing in five games. According to reports, Wade is re-signing for one more Miami Heat season before retiring.
