Some names that may be here for years to come debuted in 2013. Earl Sweatshirt made his solo debut this summer and his momentum has carried over well into the upcoming fall season. Earlier this year, Earl Sweatshirt began promoting his Doris album, which already had people buzzing.
The right-hand man to Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt blew a lot of people away with his surprisingly deep content. Odd Future takes a lot of getting used to, especially when it comes to older heads giving them a try. Earl Sweatshirt has a sound that reminds some of that early 90s New York sound, so he helps ease the transition.
A few weeks ago, Earl Sweatshirt dropped Doris to positive feedback. Since his album is out, Earl Sweatshirt is making his way through the game. Earl Sweatshirt is now preparing his first headlining tour this fall, the Doris tour, which launches in Boston on October 6.
