Everybody knew how this SHOULD have turned out, but most people were rooting for the underdog. On TV, usually a guy like Earn (Childish Gambino) would have gotten the win. But, “Atlanta” is more real than reality TV, so Tracy (Khris Davis) got the win, like in real life.
But, Tracy has deserved a fade from Earn, since the gift card scam, at the beginning of the season. Even though Earn made the dumb decision to have Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) stay with the girls, Tracy made it worse. He even inserted himself into the trip.
When Tracy was clowning Earn, at the end, Earn was right to give it to him. But, when Earn told Paper Boi to pull over, so he could fade Tracy, that’s when it got hilarious. That moment is probably the most-memorable moment in “Atlanta” history, and Twitter is going in on Earn, right now, calling him Martin after the Tommy Hearns fight.
