The longtime daytime talk show host, 60, is returning to her stand-up comedy roots, announcing her return to the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I’m doing my first stand-up shows in 15 years,” she said on the show, adding, “Come see me.”

DeGeneres, began her career in the 1980s as a stand-up comedian in her home town of New Orleans before launching her comedy show “Ellen,”

Earlier this week, Ellen was a guest on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, where she revealed that she will be retiring back to stand up comedy with a Netflix special, and how she was awarded ” The Funniest Person In America.”
