Ellie Goulding announces she is “quitting music” following split from Dougie Poynter

The past eighteen months have seen Ellie Goulding truly emerge as a dominant force in music. Currently, Ellie Goulding is enjoying the success of “On My Mind,” as it has become a hit single. Prior to this, she had success with “Love Me Like You Do.”

In November, Ellie Goulding released Delirium, which is her third studio album. The success of the album led to Ellie Goulding performing at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. It looked like there was much more to come from her.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and, for Ellie Goulding, it looks like it is the end of the line. Ellie Goulding is done with Dougie Poynter after dating for two years. Her relationship isn’t all she’s done with, however, as Ellie Goulding has revealed she is also done with music, despite being one of the most popular names out.
