Eminem confirms Slaughterhouse at Summer Jam
The last time Eminem was truly heard, until his performance at Coachella 2012 was when his single with Lil Wayne, “No Love,” was still in rotation. After releasing consecutive albums, Relapse and Recovery, completing his comeback. But, in the time since then, not much new material has come from Eminem. Instead, the artists on his Shady Records have been the ones getting more media attention.
Of course, Eminem is feeling good about the direction things are taking. Slaughterhouse has become the most-discussed group in all of hip hop. From the moment they united, everyone knew they would land with Shady Records. Currently, the group is touring and preparing for their debut album under the Shady banner. Eminem recently called into Peter Rosenberg’s show on Hot 97 and confirmed his group would be performing at their Summer Jam.
As the discussion continued, Eminem went on to reveal he would soon be returning to the studio to release another album. Ten years have passed since Eminem released his critically-acclaimed album, The Eminem Show.
