Eminem earns gold status with “Berzerk” single

While everyone was tuned into the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Eminem was plotting his takeover. This year, several legends returned to the game and they invaded some of the biggest cultural events. Jay-Z introduced Magna Carta Holy Grail during a commercial break during game six of the 2013 NBA Finals.

Eminem dropped his commercial and let the world know he was coming through with a new album on November 5. This new album was revealed to be The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and it is coming in a little under two months. In the meantime, Eminem is getting the world familiar with “Berzerk.”

Today, there was news on the new single from Eminem, the track has received its first certification. Sales results are in for all the music that has been released and “Berzerk” moved 149,000 copies in its last week. Those results are good enough for the single to now certify as gold.
