Eminem moves back into Billboard Top 200 with “The Eminem Show”

The Eminem ShowThese rappers have figured out the trick to longevity and it might not necessarily be dropping something new every year. Guys like Eminem and Jay-Z used to drop new albums every year, now they have no issue letting four or five years go by. Just when fans give up on them coming back, they’re back.

Eminem was a regular in the game when he released The Eminem Show, an all-time hip hop classic. Mostly known for his comical records that made a joke out of the lowest points of life, Eminem got serious about the topic. Even though the hilarious “Without Me” song is on the album so is “Cleaning Out My Closet.”

Recently, Eminem announced his return with The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which is due to be released in November. Anticipation is clearly high because The Eminem Show has received a peak in sales. This week, the album returned to the Billboard Top 200, moving 4,000 copies.
