Eminem sells 1.2 million copies internationally with “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”

The Marshall Mathers LP 2Any time Eminem has a new project in the works, the whole game stops to accommodate him and his release. Delivering so many classic projects over the years, Eminem has become synonymous with hip hop. His music helped put a focus on Detroit that continued long after his initial run in the game.

Like many other veterans, Eminem decided to put something new together to be released in 2013. In a recent interview, Eminem revealed he hoped, originally, to release his album on the heels of Recovery. However, his other projects stopped him from coming directly with something new, which is The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

International sales are now in and Eminem has done well in a little over a week. The first week sales were around 700,000 in the United States. Now, the international sales are out and Eminem has done exceptionally well, which does not come as a surprise, with his album pushing 1.2 million copies internationally.
