Eminem tops Billboard with “The Monster” featuring Rihanna

Eminem RihannaFrom the moment he signed with Aftermath and Interscope, Eminem had no problems making hit records. Eminem came out of nowhere and changed the game, selling millions of albums along the way. Times have changed and it seemed like Eminem’s time came and went, but it did not.

Back in 2010, Eminem was still in comeback mode and he officially took the game back over with “Not Afraid.” However, the icing came when he put out his collaboration with Rihanna, “Love The Way You Lie.” Both singles topped Billboard, but the latter had a bigger impact.

Eminem had yet to top the charts with his new Rihanna collaboration, “The Monster,” but the sound of the record proved it was coming. Now, the song has officially topped the Billboard Hot 100. They dethroned Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” on their way to topping charts.
