Actor-Rapper Bryshere Gray ran into some trouble with police after an incident inside of an Orlando 7/11 store. According to footage from a police body cam, Gray aka Yazz, aka Hakeem from Empire was being questioned after the 7-Eleven employee accused him of spitting on the floor.
According to Yazz’s account, it was another person accompanying him who spit on the floor. He actually volunteered to clean it himself. The cashier didn’t seem too pleased and started berating the actor, even after he started to clean up the mess. She then threw something at Gray, prompting him to retaliate by throwing a bag of chips. He ensured the police that the security footage would show the employee being the aggressor.
When police eventually got to question the cashier, she told a different story. She stated that it was Gray who spit on the floor. She also told police that she wanted to press charges, accusing him of assault and cussing her out first. No arrests were made due to the conflicting statements and a lack of physical injuries. While Bryshere did not want to go the legal route, the cashier does, so the store footage is being reviewed.
