“Empire” draws in 16.2 million viewers in season two premiere, comes close to breaking another record #Empire #EmpireSeason2

Empire 18Last night, “Empire” made its return and it seems like the entire entertainment industry was excited. The hiatus went by fast with Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere Gray making many media appearances. All the others kept busy, too.

It was exciting to see Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday, and the rest of the gang back. Known for star power, “Empire” packed in many guest appearances. Al Sharpton, Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, Miss Lawrence, and even Petey Pablo, according to some viewers, appeared.

While some reviews have been less than positive, Lee Daniels clearly still has a winner on his hands. He promised to keep the show exciting with storylines that make last season look tame. Thus far, he has the interest of the viewers, as “Empire” pulled in 16.2 million viewers last night.
