Lee Daniels won 2015 when his creation, “Empire,” debuted at the beginning of the year, in January. Bringing soap operas back to life, the show is led by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Everyone is a fan of Cookie (Henson).
In last night’s episode, Cookie saw her back forced against the wall for no reason. Roxanne Ford (Tyra Ferrell) is determined to put Lucious (Howard) behind bars forever. But, she made it clear Cookie will go back to prison and her sons will suffer if Lucious doesn’t go back.
Strong-willed and determined, Cookie became a fan favorite by being tough. Even with all the pressure Ford applied to her, Cookie remained tough, clowning her weave and giving her false info on Lucious, enough to block his radio deal that would have crippled her company. The “Empire” fans on Twitter had a lot to say about their scenes.
