A decade ago, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson were on the verge of superstar status. When they did Hustle & Flow, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson became icons in the culture. Before this, both had a known status, but were not standouts.
In the years since then, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson have enjoyed more standout roles. But, most of this pales in comparison to the work they have done on “Empire,” which returns on September 23. The first season FOX soap opera won on almost every level.
