#EmpireOnTVOne returns for Memorial Day with season three marathon; “Empire” returns to TV One schedule on June 7, airing every Wednesday at 8

Wow, that “Empire” season finale the other night, though! Season four with Lucious (Terrence Howard) having amnesia? Oops, spoiler alert for all the TV One viewers, but they’ll be all caught up before the night is over.

“Empire” is underrated in season three, as the ratings continued to slide. But, the show got back to its roots, successfully juggling major celebrity roles with actual stories. Definitely, Giuliana (Nia Long) was a welcomed surprise to the show as the vixen people loved to hate.

It looks like Nurse Claudia (Demi Moore) will take on that role, next season. But, this season really had Romeo Miller, Xzibit, Phylicia Rashad, Birdman, French Montana, Nia Long, Estelle, Remy Ma, Fetty Wap, Tinashe, and a lot of others. Best of all, it all made sense, storywise, not to mention Taye Diggs having a big role, along with the core of Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, and Leslie Uggams.

But, the “Empire” marathon is on TV One right now.
