Back in July, Eric Holder was officially found guilty in trial, of shooting and killing Nipsey Hussle, back in March 2019. He was found guilty on charges of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter, one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, and assault with a firearm.

Holder also recently filed a motion, in an attempt to get his first-degree murder charge reduced. However, that went on to get denied by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke, on Monday, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles. Holder’s motion for a new trial was also denied.

As a result, Holder was able to get his sentencing date postponed. That came after his lawyer filed a motion, and secured a February 2, 2022 date.

Holder initially shot Nipsey, after a conversation turned heated. That went down in front of Nipsey’s The Marathon Clothing store, in his hometown of Los Angeles. Nipsey is said to have accused Holder of being a snitch, and that’s when a shooting soon escalated. Holder was soon on the run in LA for several days, before LAPD were finally able to capture him and get him into custody.
