Erica Banks addresses backlash of her Nicki Minaj comments

Erica Banks has definitely been receiving a lot of criticism on social media, over the last several days. This is due to the Dallas rapper appearing on the Big Facts podcast, where  one of the topics she discussed was her Nicki Minaj feud.

Erica said that Nicki was ignoring her, and works with female rappers who can’t rap, instead. When asked by the hosts to list some names, she refused to Erica simply said that everyone knows the ones that can’t rap.

Many have since believed that Erica has been burning a lot of bridges with other female rappers, in the aftermath of these comments. Even Coi Leray put laughing emojis on Twitter, over the viral video.

This morning though, Erica decided to address the backlash. She didn’t seem to care, as she claimed that she’s still that girl who gets everyone “hot,” by just speaking. Erica even told other female rappers to just “shut up and rap.”

“Nobody gone tell you that you’re the best, you gotta take that sh*t. Idc how many gimmicky rappers or rappers wit sob stories try to attack my character, I’m still that girl that get y’all hot by literally speaking 😂 bc I’m her. Now shutup & rap.”

All of these comments could definitely damage any possible future collaborations for Erica. We will see how the rest of her 2022 unfolds, for her, at this point. Erica is signed to 1501 Certified Entertainment, and blew up in 2020, with her “Buss It” single.
