Erica Banks Would Collaborate With Her 1501 Certified Entertainment Label-Mate, Megan Thee Stallion, and Also Put Nicki Minaj on “Buss It” Remix [VIDEO]

1501 Certified Entertainment artist and Houston native, Erica Banks, has been making a lot of noise over the last month and s half for her “Buss It” single. This record was originally released last summer but finally picked up steam in the winter. Buss It soon resulted in viral video challenges where women start off with no makeup and chill outfits to looking their best and twerking. Nelly’s classic 2002 “Hot in Herre” single is sampled in the beginning of the song as well.

Banks also recently spoke to The Shade Room on Instagram live and discussed the success of the record. She also added that she’d like Nicki Minaj on the remix due to being a big fan of Minaj.

“You know what, we ain’t even—and I said this in an interview earlier—we ain’t even talked about no remix. Everybody keep asking, so maybe, I don’t know, we might end up doing it.”

Banks also spoke on being willing to make a track with Megan Thee Stallion. Both are signed to 1501 and from Houston. Megan trended early last year though for venting her frustrations about Carl Crawford and the label not letting her release new music. She took the legal route that upcoming week to overturn the restriction.

“I would collab with Megan Thee Stallion because, at the end of the day, it’s all business. It’s nothing personal. At the end of the day, we’re all artists and at the end of the day, we all do music. So, anything personal, which there is nothing, I wouldn’t even look at outside the business. So, we artists, we rap. It’s all good.”

Hopefully, we all do end up hearing Banks on singles with Megan and Minaj. She’s come a long way and she’s showed that greatness does take time. Buss It also ended up getting placed into the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week.
