For the past few months, Sage Steele has increasingly made insensitive comments about black people, her own people. Prior to this, Sage Steele was a well-liked ESPN commentator. But, since the race debate began, she has drawn ire from what should be her base.
This morning, news has broken of Sage Steele being replaced as the host of “NBA Countdown.” Not a moment too soon for those who were offended by the things she said. She is only weeks removed from ranting on Andre Iguodala, of the Golden State Warriors, for using the N-word.
Now, Sage Steele is being replaced by Michelle Beadle, something that is a cause for celebration on Black Twitter. Because of her rhetoric, they are glad to see her go. Showing no chill, they are saying Sage Steele can now go to Fox News, where she belongs.
