The aftermath of EST Gee‘s electrifying “EST Gee + Friends Summer Jam” took a tragic turn as the rapper’s longtime manager, EST Big Beach, was fatally shot. The event, held at KFC Yum Center on July 20th, featured powerhouse performances by artists like Lil Baby, Future, and 42 Dugg, showcasing EST Gee’s rising prominence in the music scene.
The concert marked a pinnacle in EST Gee’s career, drawing thousands of fans to witness his resilience and artistic prowess. However, celebrations were marred when his manager, EST Big Beach, 31, was found in downtown Louisville, succumbing to his injuries shortly after police arrived at the scene. Emergency Medical Services’ efforts were in vain as they pronounced him deceased, leaving a community and family shattered by the sudden loss, per WDRB 41.
The tragic loss of EST Big Beach has left many questions unanswered, prompting an investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Spokesperson Aaron Ellis confirmed the investigation into the shooting, emphasizing the absence of identified suspects as of now.
EST Gee’s last project was “El Toro 2,” in August 2023. That contained 20 songs, including huge features from Yo Gotti, 42 Dugg, Lil Baby, and the late and fellow Louisville native, Static Major.
