One thing people love about Dr. Eva Fletcher (Anika Noni Rose) is that she’s imperfect. During the early episodes, it was revealed Eva had an affair with a student, Jason (Redaric Williams). This affair was the final nail in the coffin of her marriage to Derek.
When it comes to GAMU, however, Eva is dedicated, dipping into her personal finances to ensure the school had water. This, ironically, landed her in hot water with her husband, whom she is divorcing. Then, she and Coach Hardwick (Sean Blakemore) have weird chemistry.
On top of it all, Eva is working as the dean of the school in a rape scandal, where her daughter, Sydney (Jazz Raycole) is the victim. Even though she’s not completely innocent, Eva has the support of “The Quad” viewers. They believe Derek and Coach have got her F’d up.
