Long before “Empire” was the biggest primetime soap, “Desperate Housewives” made the genre cool again. Something like a humorous version of “Knots Landing,” “Desperate Housewives” definitely enjoyed a run. It also boosted Eva Longoria into fame.
Eva Longoria would go on to make herself a household name. There are few things she didn’t involve herself in over the past decade plus. Of course, her star power was too much for Lee Daniels to ignore, as he added her to “Empire” for the spring season of season three.
Tonight’s episode saw Eva Longoria debut as Charlotte Frost, immediately pitting her against Nia Long’s Giuliana. Then, there is always Taraji P. Henson, whose Cookie revealed she still has feelings for Lucious (Terrence Howard). But, when it came to Charlotte’s (Longoria) scenes, it was Eva that stole the show.
