Spending over ten years out of the rap game, Eve underwhelmingly returned to the game last week. Lip Lock has been one of the most-disappointing albums of the year, thus far, but did enough to put Eve back on the map. Before Eve entered her hiatus, she was one of the biggest rappers in the game.
In the time since Eve’s run, she has enjoyed a successful sitcom, a clothing line, and now she lives outside of the United States. Recently, Eve revealed she now resides in London and this is where a good portion of Lip Lock was created. Returning in the spring, Eve did manage to get a few of hip hop’s current big names to jump on her album.
Eve was back in the United States for her press run this week. Returning to New York City, Eve took in interviews with the media outlets. First, Eve stopped by Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” where she discussed her hiatus and life in London. Hot 97 also got a stab with Eve and she discussed her past relationship with Stevie J.
