Until 2017, Eve was known for being a part of one of the most-memorable eras in hip hop. The era when hip hop had moguls and label partnerships saw Eve breaking records. Her fast-growing popularity led to Eve getting her own sitcom.

Eve put her music career on hiatus, for her self-titled sitcom, which gained a cult following. Unfortunately, the network ended up being cancelled, leaving her show out in the cold. A return to music was spoiled, despite a hit single, due to her album being shelved.

In 2017, Eve tried her hand as a talk show host, joining “The Talk,” with much fanfare. Here, Eve has opened up on many personal issues, and some struggles in the rap game. But, all good things come to an end, as Eve announced, yesterday, that she’s leaving the show to focus on her family.
