Most first learned of Fabolous in 2001, when Lil’ Mo featured him on her “Superwoman” single. His career immediately took off and he put out several hit singles in the early 2000s. Years have passed since then and Fabolous has not put an album out since 2009.
In the meantime, Fabolous has put out several mixtapes that have gained critical acclaim. Many of the newer artists in the game have sought Fabolous out and built solid relationships with him. This has helped both them and him, as they received a veteran in their corner and he has new talent to work with.
Currently, there is a rumor going on via Twitter about Fabolous getting into a tight situation yesterday. Reportedly, Fabolous was at the Best Buy Theatre in New York City and he got beaten up. Earlier this week, there were similar rumors about this happening to Cam’ron.
