Once Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s “Control” went viral, a lot of people were taunting the New York rappers. Fans have prompted the New York rappers to step up and diss Kendrick Lamar. Since Fabolous has made several claims about planning to step up and be the King of New York, Hip Hop Vibe asked if he should diss Kendrick.
Apparently, the folks over at OnSmash also had that same question. With the debate ongoing, they took the initiative and asked Fabolous about Kendrick Lamar. Their original question was if Fabolous would allow the Compton newcomer to claim himself as King of New York.
A title seemingly groomed for Fabolous, he should be the one to take this issue head-on. Joell Ortiz has already come through with a diss record of his own that addresses Kendrick Lamar. Fabolous replied to OnSmash on Twitter and he hinted having a diss record of his own in the works, after asking if any studios were open this morning.
