Famous Dex Released From Prison, a Few Days After Getting 1-Year Prison Sentence, For Domestic Violence and. Gun Charges; Got Out Due to Prison “Overcrowding”
Last week, Famous Dex was ordered to one year in prison, due to 19 different charges, on domestic violence and gun charges. This involved several ex-girlfriends, and another woman, last October. The Chicago rapper had a SWAT standoff, last November, after an altercation with one of his exes. Another incident came at Dex’s home, where the woman was seen with injuries. The October incident also had a physical altercation.
Dex was sentenced to one year in prison, and was expected to be out on November 24 of this year, or in early 2022. Now, it looks like he’s officially a free man again.
According to Akademiks, Dex was able to be freed, due to “overcrowding,” in the prison. It will be interesting to see if he finally stays out of legal woes, and focuses solely on music. His last project was his “Snotty Nose Dexter” EP, in December 2020.
