Famous Dex Slapped With 19 Charges Which Include Domestic Violence Against Ex-Girlfriends and Gun Possession; Facing 18 Years in Prison

Famous Dex, at one point, was one of the hottest rising rappers out of Chicago. Lately though, he’s been going through tons of legal issues. This also comes with Dex claiming this month that he was robbed of his money at gunpoint along with a $50,000 watch in the San Fernando Valley.

Now, the legal troubles are really starting to pile on Dex. According to TMZ, authorities have given him 19 charges relating to domestic violence and gun possession. This is reportedly from three different incidents.

Two incidents date back to two of Dex’s ex-girlfriends. In October, Dex got into a physical altercation with an ex-girlfriend and is now being charged with corporal injury domestic violence, threatening a domestic partner, exhibiting a firearm, inflicting bodily injury, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime, defacing property and illegal possession of a firearm.

Another incident was in November where police say that another ex-girlfriend. had cuts on her bod. This shockingly resulted in a standoff with SWAT as Dex supposedly  Dex barricaded himself with guns he had. Charges on the table from this incident include domestic violence, weapon possession, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime and defacing property.

This month, Dex was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm during a traffic stop. This was under his seat as this went down in North Hollywood, CA. Cops said that Dex did not have a rear license plate. Prosecutors ended up revealing that Dex can’t have a firearm due to a restraining order. That was listed as a charge against him along with possession of a firearm without a serial number. Overall, 18 years in prison is what Dex could face for all of these charges, according to The City Attorney’s Office.
