On Wednesday night, the first date of Drake‘s highly anticipated It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage kicked off. This was held in Chicago, at the United Center. This show also trended before it started, due to Drake putting in a statue of the late Virgil Abloh. Abloh was from the Chicago area, and passed away in late 2021.
Meanwhile, Drake experienced a very awkward fan reaction in Chicago, while performing. A fan threw their phone on stage, as they appeared to want Drake to record a video with it. While the fan didn’t seem to cause any harm, the phone definitely could’ve hit Drake in the wrong area.
As a result, this phone hit Drake on his lower arm, as he took a look, but continued to perform. Fans in the background could be heard asking what was thrown, as the other revealed that it was a phone. However, it’s unclear if this fan was ever able to get the phone back, amid this awkward situation.
Itms being thrown on stage have been too common lately. Bebe Rexha was recently hit in the face by a phone, which resulted in stitches. Furthermore, GloRilla also saw several water bottles being thrown on stage, while performing in Denmark.
