Back in the early 2000s, Lil Zane appeared to be on the brink of becoming the next major artist in the game. The single, “Callin’ Me,” became a big hit for him and the song helped break him as an artist. Several UPN sitcoms featured Lil Zane during the 2001-2002 period and he performed his hit single.
Lil Zane has not had much mainstream attention since this period of time. However, he has remained active on the music scene since that time period. Times have changed and Lil Zane is someone people still keep a lot of focus on, from time-to-time, usually as a joke like Tyler, The Creator did in 2011.
Recently, a fan decided to taunt Lil Zane, by leaving him a comment on one of his recent Instagram posts. She asked Lil Zane about booking him for a show and informing him of the cash he would receive upfront. Once Lil Zane responds with details, she told him “SIKE.”
