Michael Jordan is the most iconic figure from the NBA. Recently, he sold his Charlotte Hornets majority stake for $3 billion. Jordan was the controlling owner of the Hornets for thirteen years. In 2010, MJ purchased the franchise for $275, when it was still known as the Charlotte Bobcats. While his track record as an owner isn’t pristine, his record as a player was. Recently, Jordan was out and about and some fans saw him. These fans followed him, making goat noises.

Michael Jordan joined the Chicago Bulls, after being the third draft pick in 1984. Within seven years, Jordan led the Bulls to their first NBA Finals. There, they defeated Magic Johnson’s Los Angeles Lakers, in 1991. After that, Jordan and the Bulls made five other NBA Finals appearances. During each series, the Bulls won the title. In addition, Jordan won the Finals MVP award each year. Between the title runs, he retired.

Michael Jordan has had a huge impact on the NBA, over the the past forty years. Twenty years after his final retirement, people are still watching Jordan’s Bulls highlights.
