LL Cool J calls out rappers who act like they’re too good to perform on stage and fans think he’s talking about Jay-Z [VIDEO]

Fans think LL Cool J dissed Jay-Z at recent concert
LL Cool J has quite the complicated history with Jay-Z, which spans four decades. In the 1980s, LL would often battle Jay-Z. While many said Jay would win the battles, LL would often counter that he was the signed rapper. Well over a decade later, Jay-Z would land the record deal. Ultimately, Jay-Z became the more successful of the two rappers. During Jay’s run as the head of Def Jam, he and LL bumped heads. Now, LL is calling out rappers who act like they’re afraid to perform on stage.
LL Cool J provided the formula that many rappers used for decades. The Queens rapper is the one who formulated making records for the streets and records for the ladies. His single, “I Need Love” opened the door to the rap ballad. Guys like Ja Rule, Fabolous, Wale, and Meek Mill have made those kinds of records their own. But, it was LL who first took that risk, and he’s continued to develop things that other rappers emulated.
LL Cool J made it known that he is an emcee and that’s where it starts and ends. With that being said, he’s back to doing his thing at Rock The Bells. Not only is this the name of his company, but it’s also the name of one of his breakthrough singles. Recently, LL was at his Rock The Bells concert, and he had something to say. Definitely standing on that tough talk, LL called out rappers who are afraid to get on stage. The fans think LL is jabbing at Jay-Z again.
