A lot has been said about the comebacks of Nas, Jadakiss, and later Busta Rhymes. What has been overlooked, however, is Fat Joe’s comeback run. Starting last fall, with the “Another Round” single with Chris Brown, Fat Joe has been releasing consistent hits. This summer, Fat Joe created an anthem with “Pride N Joy,” featuring Kanye West, among others.
Fat Joe featured Mos Def, Busta Rhymes, Kanye West, Miguel, and DJ Khaled on the original version of “Pride N Joy.” The remix, which was released yesterday on iTunes, features Miguel, Pusha T, Trey Songz, and Ashanti. Over the years, Fat Joe has proven to be a consistent hitmaker and a remix king.

Saying this, Fat Joe meant he was going to release several singles before his album came, like artists in the 1980s. Counting “Another Round” and the original version of the single, “Pride N Joy,” Fat Joe is already three hits deep.
