Fat Joe has been working hard to promote his new album, Jose, Pt. II. For the most part, his efforts have been unsuccessful. His album has been pushed back for most of the summer.
Regardless of promotion, Fat Joe planned to release the album in October and let the chips fall where they may. As a result, he began leaking some of his tracks to the internet.
Longtime rival of Fat Joe, 50 Cent heard parts of the album. He used his website, ThisIs50.com, to diss Fat Joe’s album. He went as far as to say that the music on the album can kill.
Right then, there was promotion and buzz around Fat Joe’s album. The comments made by 50 prompted Rico Love, a producer on the album to speak out for Fat Joe.
Today, J.O.S.E., Pt. II was released and the buzz was built mainly due to 50 Cent’s diss. For that, Fat Joe thanked his adversary, saying that no one was interested in the album until he said something about it.
