It has been nineteen years since Fat Joe burst onto the scene with his “Flow Joe” single. Fat Joe has been consistently releasing hit singles ever since. Currently, Fat Joe is promoting his “Another Round” single with Chris Brown. Over the past few years, Fat Joe has been facing criticism for being a follower of styles, as opposed to leading.

Regardless of the situation, Fat Joe’s career has lasted more than most. For nearly twenty years, Fat Joe has been releasing hit singles and has sold millions of records worldwide. Hip hop is currently dominated by DJ Khaled and Rick Ross, both began working closely with Fat Joe. While both still speak highly of Fat Joe, he has been noticably absent until recently.

Fat Joe’s native The Bronx has taken notice of his hard work and he has been inducted The Bronx Walk of Fame. AllHipHop.com caught up Fat Joe and he released an official statement, saying: “I am extremely thrilled and grateful to be inducted in this year’s Bronx Walk of Fame,” Fat Joe told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “The Bronx is vibrant, colorful, and filled with rich history and through the years it has been the inspiration that has helped me grow as an artist. Thank you to Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., for allowing me to be among such an illustrious group of fellow Bronxites that are being honored.”
