Fetty Wap surprises fans with 1738 written on their truck
Fetty Wap was the hottest rapper in 2015. In one year, Fetty Wap did more than most artists do in a whole career. What was incredible about Fetty Wap’s run is that he began the year virtually unknown. After the Rihanna co-sign, Fetty Wap saw his career take off.
Fetty Wap released “Trap Queen” and the song became the summer anthem. Along with “Trap Queen,” Fetty Wap and DJ Louie Styles released the Up Next mixtape. Also included on the tape was “My Way,” with Remy Boy Monty. However, the “My Way” single is better known for the Drake version.
Fetty Wap has not had much music success since 2015. However, Fetty Wap has maintained a presence within the culture. The New Jersey rapper reappeared in 2016, when he joined “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” After Fetty Wap’s first season, he left the show, and then returned on the flagship “Love & Hip Hop” in 2017. Recently, Fetty Wap and his team spoke out about how important it is for artists to learn the business, citing his own mishaps.
Fetty Wap is gearing up for another run, with the music. While Fetty Wap and his team were out, they ran into fans at a local gas station. Because their truck had “1738” written on the window, Fetty Wap assumed they were fans. When Fetty Wap got out of his vehicle, the fans began running over to him to hug him.
