All week, everyone has been talking about French Montana because his long-awaited debut album, Excuse My French, hit stores. Two years ago, French Montana talked about the album and predicted it would sell 200,000 copies in its first week. But, in his latest interviews, French Montana said he was more interested in the quality.
According to the reviews, French Montana came through when it came to the quality of music. New York hip hop needed a new leader and French Montana rose to the occasion, but this is far from over. Next up from French Montana is opening the door, fully, for the entire Coke Boys’ roster.
Before getting into the details about the Coke Boys, French Montana has one more hurdle to cross. While he has expressed interest in quality of music over the sales, the world is still looking at the first week sales. In its first week, Excuse My French is predicted to move between 45 and 50,000 copies.
This comes after French Montana loaded the album with appearances from 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Ace Hood, and Drake, among other major stars.
