Fivio Foreign says GloRilla deserved Breakthrough Artist Award
A few nights ago, GloRilla took home her first major award. This was for Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artis, at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The Memphis rapper won this over names such as Fivio Foreign, Doechii, Baby Keem, and more.
Fans on social media were extremely happy for GloRilla, has her breakout 2022 has been memorable to watch. Many debated on social media on who they thought should’ve won Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist. Some believed that it was Fivio Foreign, as he’s now weighing in.
Fivio has taken to Twitter to say that he didn’t get robbed of this award. He also emphasized that GloRilla won because she deserved it, and he’s happy for her.
GloRilla went viral at the end of the spring, with her “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” single, produced by Hitkidd. That soon led to a record deal with fellow Memphis native Yo Gotti’s CMG label. Glo has since release more hits such as “Tomorrow,” “F.N.F.” remix with JT and Latto, and “Tomorrow 2,” featuring Cardi B. GloRilla’s debut “Anyways, Life’s Great” EP, on November 11.
