A cat has nine lives and Flavor Flav has two separate careers. On one side, Flavor Flav is known as Chuck D’s wacky sidekick with Public Enemy. Despite his appearance, few would dispute Flavor Flav’s position in hip hop history. But, younger fans probably know Flavor Flav best for his time with “Flavor of Love.”
Entertaining VH1 fans for five years, Flavor Flav took a six year hiatus before returning to the network in 2012. Flavor Flav is currently filming “Couples’ Therapy” with Dr. Drew and alongside many other big names in entertainment. Recently, Flavor Flav has embraced more of his hip hop roots.
After speaking on the current state of hip hop, Flavor Flav revealed a never-before-told memory of himself and Tupac Shakur. As most know, Flavor Flav was a lot of things, but he was not a murderer and Tupac can be thanked for that. The Daily Beast reported a story where Flavor Flav spoke on this.

Yes, he actually saved me from committing murk. Tupac was 17 or 18 years old when he stopped me from hitting this guy over the head with a fire extinguisher. If I had hit this guy over the head, the whole tour would have had to go home, I would have gone to jail, I might not be sitting here talking to you today. So I really got to thank God for Tupac stopping me from committing a murk.
