Flavor Flav reunites with Hoopz at the iHeart Jingle Ball

Flavor Flav redefined reality TV, with “Flavor of Love.” With that, he introduced many women to national audiences. Among them was Hoopz and these ladies helped lay the foundation for the women in the game now. Even though it was just TV, it was clear Flavor Flav and Hoopz had a special connection, and it showed when they saw each other for the first time in years at the Jingle Ball.

Flavor Flav was like most celebrities of the 1990s, by the early 2000s, forgotten. However, he wound up on “The Surreal Life.” At the time, that was VH1’s most popular show. There, he sparked an unlikely romance with Brigitte Nielsen. As a result, they began dating, and their relationship gained a huge fan base. This resulted in their own show, “Strange Love,” where Nielsen left Flav, leading to “Flavor of Love.”

Flavor Flav birthed a whole new genre of television with “Flavor of Love.” During the first season, he selected Hoopz. While it was clear they liked each other, most people knew this was just for TV. The show was too entertaining to just end with one season. As a result, it ran for two years. Now, all of these years later, Flavor Flav and Hoopz ran into each other at iHeart’s annual Jingle Ball, where it was all laughs and hugs.
