Flavor Flav says he used to spend over $2,400 on drugs per day
Flavor Flav is recognized as one of the most iconic rappers of all-time. He initially joined the group Public Enemy in the late 1980s, as they also went on to become one of the biggest hip-hop groups, of all-time.
Recently, Flav appeared on Akademiks’ “Off The Record” podcast. There, he revealed the negative impact that he was dealing with before, involving drugs. Flav explained how he used to buy drugs every day, for six straight years. The amount he spent ranged between $2,400-$2,600 per day.
Back in November, Flav also trended on social media. This was due to him missing his flight on Spirit Airlines, after missing his flight. At the time, Flav was reportedly let other passengers board before him, to avoid the boarding process being delayed, due to photo and video requests. That resulted in the gate being closed, and Flav going off on a gate agent. However, Spirit went on to fully refund his ticket, as well as upgrading him to their gold status.
