Flo Rida releases statement after his 6-year-old son recently fell from building; Reveals that he is still recovering at hospital

Flo Rida speaks on son surviving fall from building

On Thursday, it was revealed that Flo Rida’s 6-year-old son fell from a 5-story building in Jersey City, NJ, earlier this month. As a result, he went on to be treated in ICU, as he’s in a full-body cast. Meanwhile, the mother of the child, Alexis Adams, is suing the construction and a window installation company, of the building.

Adams explained that negligence by this property caused her son’s fall. She added that there were “incorrect sized guards” on the windows. Adams is seeking damages to cover medical costs. The child will also have to learn how to walk, all over again, according to Adams’ attorney, Steven Haddad, to TMZ.

However, Flo Rida is now speaking out about this horrific incident. In his Instagram stories, he put out a statement, where he revealed that his son is hospitalized. But, he is said to still be receiving the best treatment available.

“Great day. Thank you to everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son. He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall. I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remain a private matter.”
