Floyd Mayweather provides essentials to Maui wildfire victims

Floyd Mayweather is using his generational wealth to help families that are in dire need right now, amid the shocking aftermath of the wildfires that have been affecting Maui, Hawaii. According to TMZ, the boxing legend is reportedly helping 68 families in Maui receive the essentials that are needed.

Furthermore, Mayweather is helping these families, which are over 100 people, receive flights to safety, hotels, food, and clothing. He even partnered with H&M in order to get the clothing needed.  Regarding the flights, Mayweather is getting these families flown from Maui to Honolulu.

As a result, the 68 families are booked into rooms at hotels for weeks, and will also be receiving food from various restaurants, courtesy of Mayweather. Mayweather hasn’t spoken publicly about this initiative, as he told TMZ he isn’t looking to take away attention from what’s happening in Maui, and wants to simply help those in need there.

As of Friday, over 55 people and counting have tragically passed away, due to the Maui wildfires. Many have lost their homes, and even attempted to jump into the Pacific Ocean, in order to avoid being engulfed in flames.
