As soon as 21 Savage began truly coming into his own, as a star, he had direct competition. A comedian was calling himself 22 Savage, but later seriously began rapping under that name. The result was one of hip hop’s most-bizarre beefs ever.
22 Savage launched “Ain’t No 21,” which led to countless numbered rappers with the Savage last name. Numbers ranged from 23 to 29 with their “Ain’t No [Insert Number Here]” diss tracks. Ultimately, it ended up being funny as all get out.
What wasn’t funny, though, was 22 Savage being robbed during his performance in San Antonio. The goons took his chain and now they’re holding it ransom. For $20,000, they will return his chain, in the meantime, they’re going on tour with the chain.
