Hands down, Meek Mill is one of the hottest new artists to hit the game in a long time and he helped place the focus back on Philadelphia. Because of his efforts, Meek Mill should receive a lot more support than he does from his city. Instead, Meek Mill found himself dissed by various Philadelphia figures, most-notably Cassidy.
Outside of the city, Meek Mill gets a lot of love and Miami has become a second home to the popular rapper. His ties to Rick Ross have definitely gone a long way and Meek Mill built his own name in the game. This year, Meek Mill has worked steadfastly on his new company, Dreamchasers Records.
In the midst of all of this work, Meek Mill is also constantly on the road doing shows. He performed in Wilmington, Delaware this weekend and the show went well. But, after the show, three men and one woman were shot, but they did not receive any life-threatening injuries.
