Four Songs From J. Cole’s “The Off-Season” Album Simultaneously Debut in Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Over a week ago, J. Cole delivered his sixth studio album, “The Off-Season.” This came after in December, he revealed the list of albums he has on the way. The Off-Season was led by the singles “Interlude” and “The Climb Back.” The album contained 12 tracks in total with appearances from 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Morray, and more.

Yesterday, The Off-Season also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. This marked Cole’s sixth consecutive number one album, as every album in his career has debuted in this top spot. 282,000 units were sold in The Off-Season’s first week as 37,000 were in pure sales. 325.05 million on-demand streams were also amassed as this is the biggest streaming debut for album album released in 2021.

Now, the Billboard Hot 100 numbers are in, and Cole has plenty of tracks from The Off-Season in the top 10. Four of them are included here as they are “My Life” feat. 21 Savage and Morray at number two, “Amari” at number five, “Pride is The Devil” feat. Lil Baby at number seven, and “95 South” at number eight.

With these debuts, Cole also joins Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne, and Drake as the only artists to to debut four songs in the Hot 100 simultaneously, per Chart Data. The Off-Season is already being regarded as arguably the album of the year so far in 2021 as well.
