Most hip hop heads hold both Freddie Gibbs and Lupe Fiasco high regards. In the case of Freddie Gibbs, it’s because he is a traditional gangsta rap artist. With Lupe Fiasco, he is considered by most as one of the last true lyricists in the game.
Lupe Fiasco, as of late, has made a lot of moves that most would consider questionable. First, he co-signed Migos, who most would not deem as lyrical. He has also taken controversial and unexpected stances on social issues.
Something Lupe Fiasco did must have heated Freddie Gibbs, as he took aim at the fellow Midwest rapper. He took to his Instagram to address someone who he has not acknowledged much over the course of his career. Freddie Gibbs had a photo and a mini speech in which he referred to Lupe Fiasco as a “bitch ass nigga.”
